If you’re here, chances are you’re overwhelmed and inundated with a lot of marketing programs targeted to health coaches that promise you six figures by using email funnels, Facebook ads, and big $$ program launches to grow your list and get clients.
There’s nothing wrong with this model, but is it the only way to get clients? And do you really want or even need to build a six-figure business? And what if you don’t want to work with clients online? What if you don’t want to launch high cost programs?
I’m Melissa Danielle, Integrative Nutrition and Women’s Health Coach. I’m not a business coach or marketing expert, but I have run several successful coaching and wellness programs over the years that didn’t involve any of what we’re constantly seeing in social media ads. What I did do was get out into my community, meeting and inviting people to join me in doing the things I loved and was already doing to improve my health and the health of those around me. And as they got to know, like and trust me, they became clients and customers.
Since 2005, I’ve built several niches around plant-based diets, green smoothies, and local and seasonal eating. In addition to working with clients 1:1 and in groups, I’ve hosted book clubs, workshops, tours and trips, a hyperlocal restaurant week, meetup groups, cooking demonstrations, CSAs, buying clubs, and more.
I did all of this in and around NYC, a city saturated with Institute for Integrative Nutrition health coaches, health and wellness practitioners of every modality imaginable, and endless options to look and feel good. That I was able to make a name and a living for myself says that there’s enough to go around and something for everyone. I now live in Hawaii, where I’m starting a new cycle of health coaching focusing on women’s health and pleasure. I’ll be using the same community building and marketing strategies I used in Brooklyn out here, and I’d love for you to join me.
If you want to build a thriving health coaching practice on your own terms, I invite you to join my 6-month community building and peer support program, Grow Your Community.
Together, we will create a customized community building toolkit of 3-5 strategies that will help you increase your visibility in your community and online with real time implementation. We’ll spend the first three months getting your structures and systems in place and testing them out, and the next three months will be maintenance and course-correcting.
We’ll meet 1:1 to develop your community building toolkit, and then we’ll meet regularly via Zoom video conferencing and in our private group to continue the conversation and get peer support from other members. You’ll even be invited to join me as a guest on my podcast. I believe in community and collaboration over competition. I want you to be seeing what others are doing and figuring out how to make it yours, without plagiarizing or perpetrating a fraud. I want you to connect with others and see whom you resonate with, in the hopes of creating joint ventures and friendships. I want to show you that it’s okay to start very small and build your health coaching practice incrementally, so that you can maintain a high level of self-care and consistency as you grow your health coaching practice.
I want to demonstrate that you can be both a working health coach and mentor in a new generation of health coaches, without quitting to become a marketing expert for health coaches. I am going to show you how to do all of this without burning out.
Grow Your Community is geared specifically to students and graduates of Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Integrative Women’s Health Institute’s Women’s Health Coach Certification.
The investment to work with me is $650 paid in full.* I do not offer refunds as I am making continuous investments in my business and my own personal growth as well as putting in the work with you to help you grow your coaching practice. Before we get started, here are some voluntary prerequisites: Voluntary in the sense that you don’t have to invest in any of these recommendations, but if you have blocks in these areas, it would move things along quicker when we begin working together for you to get started on them now. If you’re struggling to figure out what is you want to do as a health coach, I invite you to invest in The Fire Starter Sessions. It’s a DIY workshop experience that can help you clarify your values and figure out how you want to show up. And anything by Gary V (not so much for the hustle hard every day mantra he beats you over the head with but for the other mindset shifts you need to make).
